In John 21, the resurrected Jesus meets Peter on the shore and presents him with a privileged responsibility. "Feed my sheep." The work of Christ becomes the new life work of Peter. THIS is an act of compassion on Jesus' part, and he only gives Peter this task after spending some time restoring their relationship. How is Christ asking you to be compassionate this week? Will you "feed sheep"?
